The bad news is always best to get first.

Bad News – The yard sale today did NOT go as well as planned; we only handed out 9 bags of cards out of the 50 that we had, so we only gave out 2,250 cards so I was a bit disappointed. I am happy to say that all 9 bags had either an autograph or jersey cards so we made a few kids happy!

Good News – Actually there is a few new things I would consider good news. Since we only gave away 9 bags, that means I have 41 bags already towards that next donation!

When we got home today from the yard sale, we had two donations; which I’ll do another post about. We are heading to Lexington, KY tomorrow to pick up another donation as well!

I’m going to take the left over cards, plus the cards I got today and tomorrow and start working on our big Chattanooga, TN donation that we are taking down on October 19th. The plan is to take 100,000 cards to the kids in and around that area. If you are in that area and have ANY leads on charities that would like a donation, PLEASE let me know ASAP!
